I have successfully installed 2CAudio plugins but when S1 scanned at startup, it showed this window:

    What's up with this? :snuffy:

    Thanks in advance.

Why not try to install it again?
Some files might have not been installed even if the installer say successfully installed it might have miss out some files
And some installers by default install without the option to manually locate where it will be installed.
And some people just click next next etc without even looking where it SAY it will be installed so some plugins and program might end up in WRONG location.
In your case it say program folder LOCATION try to see where the 2CAudio program folder is located there is the problem then install it again

I have the same problem running Vista 32 bit

tried to move the different folders, to different locations,no luck

tried reinstall ,,no luck ,,Reaper or Studio One,same error, gave up could not find what folder the plugin was looking for

Or where the DAW thought it should be

Maybe if some one could post the folder path in windows 7 we could rename or add a folder to see if that would work

Thanks    :bleh:  :dunno: :mates: *yes* *yes* :dancing:

Why does your plug-in fail to load in my host?

99% of the time when one of our plug-ins fails to load in a host, it is caused by a problem with installation. The most common issue is that the disk permissions and nebulous operating system security features have blocked our installer from writing all of the files we need to write to your machine.

If you are using Windows we suggest that you try running the installer again in a special manner: find the "setup.exe" file in our installer, right click on it, and select "Run as admin...". This should solve the issue.

unfortunately I cannot get the install file to run as "Run as admin...".

I`m on win7 64bit, they work fine ... No! They are amazing!
Seriously, in Reaper and S1  , I never used Vista, just hard to imagine that you can`t run the install as admin. How about changing permissions, allow programs to make changes?
Guitarmaniac64 is making a point. Are you shure you`ve been running the install routine proper? (No doubts in your general computer skills! But sometimes it happens to the best.)

    Code:
    C:\Program Files\2C-Audio\
    C:\Users\user\Documents\2C-Audio
    C:\VST 64bit III

Something similar happened to me with older versions of 2c aether: to solve the problem I needed to open DAW as admin (even if I had admin rights)after a clean install (as admin) before opening the plug first time....
No problem now with new release .....(win7/64, studio one)

I reinstalled again and again the plugins with the steps mentioned by sideshowbob. However, error is still there.

what OS? have you done exhaustive google searches? see if you can find a different version to install, and make sure the paths are correct during installation

What Steps? I just posted the paths because korgrog was asking for. If you installed in your standard VST directory, everything should be fine.
The platform you are on, would be interesting. Have you tried pereiras suggestion: Run the DAW as Admin?

B2 is available for VST and AAX hosts under Windows 7 and Windows 8. Both 64-bit and 32-bit versions are provided for all formats.
Aether is available for VST and AAX hosts under Windows 7 and Windows 8. Both 64-bit and 32-bit versions are provided for all formats.
Breeze is available for VST and AAX hosts under Windows 7 and Windows 8. Both 64-bit and 32-bit versions are provided for all formats.
    from 2caudio site.

with vista it was horrible and not a good choice for audio as it messed a lot of stuff up if you can throw a install of win7 or xp on your system.

if your lucky and disable UAC and run host as admin you may get it to work

but 2caudio just don't support vista and i cant blame them as it was a dog
