I thought it was good, but had 1 major problem with it. Why does the line "love will tear us apart...." sound completely out of sync? Was this something that you did intentionally, or that line just doesn't fit the groove properly at this slower (or halved) tempo?

Sorry man, but it's the main hook and just ruins what would have otherwise been a great slant on the original song (which I've always loved). This is my opinion but please remember this song was an absolute classic - if you fuck around with songs like this too much they start to lose everything that was unique about them.

Here's the all short story...
I found on our preferred board the multitrack of this song and have the idea to use it in one of my track i'm working on actually.
One afternoon working, a bit of Melodyne here and some edits there and voila...
But i don't get you when you're talking about Sync...
The original voice track has been edited to fit the all thing but i don't find it's out of sync.
Maybe you have too much the original in your ears and i also think this little musical joke is not going to ruin Joy Division reputation.

I don't see why a version should ofend anyone.
In fact I find the phasing is interesting specially in the way affects the tempo (almost the notion of it) in a unexpected way.
Saturday morning, I had a listen and yeah, it works for me! :dancing:

Its the one little section that just sounds wrong. I love the track and idea.

yeah sorry, I thought I had said it earlier. Yes, its just the vocal for "love will tear us apart", its really stilted and kills the groove of the song.

This is just my opinion, I hope I dont come across as too harsh, I dont mean to. Like I said, its a great remix, but if it was mine Id fix that vocal phrase so it flows with the rest of the song.
