    Hello,

So I've only recently stumbled across this amazing feature despite having done a course that covered Kontakt and used it for over 2 years. Load times are just a few seconds compared to a minute.

I have a question though I was hoping someone could help me with. I've tried googling for an answer and haven't found anything.

Is it possible to batch resave an entire folder of 'drag and drop' packages (non-library ones that don't have a spot in the library i.e. Spitfire solo strings) instead of doing each one individually?

I'm too scared to try in case it screws something up and I lose all everything.

    Anyone tried this before?

    Thank you

Finally managed to find an answer.

Apparently it's a really bad idea to do a number of libraries at once as samples with the same name will most likely be linked incorrectly.

Yes I did it once and my library got screwed. My presets always ask the popup as 'samples not found' .Try each lib one by one and in case anything goes wrong you could easily re install that particular lib.Abacus is right.

Try this...copy Spitfire solo strings to an external drive(backup) and then do a batch resave for that particular library only.If anything goes wrong you could always remove the library and add it again.
Just open the files icon in the top right of kontakt ( next to quick load)
then click on batch re-save direct knotakt to the library to re-save and that takes
a little while but then enjoy very fast loads from then on out.

what i found works ok is after you load in a instrument just re-save the instrument.
on the top row press Files then go to save as ,on the right will be the name of the instrument ,press it,
on the screen that now opens tick / patch only and absolute sample paths,
make sure patch + samples are anticked as well as monolith.
put all the instrument folders in a .rar first as a backup that way you can just over-wright the old one,
if that don't make them quicker to load try beatroot plan.
