Hypercube Software have updated Universal Patch Finder to version 1.6.

New features are:

> Now a Tag manager will help you to consolidate tags names and values in your own way

> Spectrogram display for audio files (REX,AIFF,WAV)

> Database plugins: STEAM, Alchemy, Mediabay, Kontakt

> VST can be resized

> Setup remember VST folders

For those who don't know Universal Patch Finder :
This software allow you to index any kind of patch (Kontakt, REX, WAV, AIFF) from your favorites audio libraries.
It is a Vsti format, so you can load it into your DAW.
So if you have a lot of sounds, it is very useful.

Cool mang! Was looking for something like this. All I could find was Soundminer. Which is really expensive and probably really hard to crack. So this seems like a very good alternative. I will definitely give it a shot. Thanks!

 

Damn, I wish they'd develop this for OSX. I own Soundminer, but it doesn't integrate with other s/w like this does, if I understand their promo. Thanks for the heads up.

 

there is some similliar for VSTis (Zen Universal preset manager) too maybe somebody don't know it : http://www.bigtickaudio.com/zen/download also a free one
