    They should make an offer for the program with instruments and effects, but with out all that content.

    Then what about the 24 month rent-to-own option for Live Suite 12? You can pay monthly with no extra charges and the remaining balance can be settled at any time. Could also look for second hand license transfer for 12 or older versions and try the upgrade prices. I'd happily work with any version between 9-12.

    As someone who has never enjoyed creating with hardware sequencers or on a linear timeline in any DAW, I instantly fell in love with the clips view in live and the warping was insane at the time. I remember how divisive the clip view was to some of the guys I was working with and how they just couldnt wrap their head around it. For me, the speed with which it allowed me to sketch ideas into reality genuinely changed the way I viewed making music on a computer. Big up these guys, genuine gamechangers.
