Hi guys, I'm having a problem with Bitwig 6 and UAD plugins, both legitimate versions. I'd like to contact Bitwig support; it might take a few days, so I'm asking you guys who may have had the same problem and maybe solved it.
In the Settings-Plug-ins-Show plug-in errors section, I get this error (it's just one here, but I get it with all the other UADs):

    ----------------------------------------------------------------
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\UAD\uaudio_ampex_atr-102_tape.vst3\Contents\Resources\WebView2\runtimes\win-arm64\native\WebView2Loader.dll
com.bitwig.flt.library.metadata.reader.exception.CouldNotReadMetadataException: could not read metadata: Unsupported plug-in architecture
    ----------------------------------------------------------------

The problem is that the plugins open and work in an empty project, but I've had a corrupted project, where the previously saved plugin wouldn't open.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

No issues on my end. Installed Bitwig 6 DEMO & loaded UADx SSL Channel Strip on 8 channels & Fairchild 670 on Master. Let session loop as I fumbled around trying to remember how Bitwig works.

I'm thinking it has something to do with WebView. Make sure you have the latest build of WebView which should have come through any recent Windows Update. Edge WebView2 (150.0.4078.65) is what I have from the most recent update that I did. An offline installer can be downloaded from Microsoft.

If you have WinGet installed (part of Windows), you can update WebView2 to see if that fixes your issue.

WebView2 can be updated using the winget command line tool with the command:
    • winget install -e --id Microsoft.EdgeWebView2Runtime.
Just ran & updated to 150.0.4078.83

this isnt happen to me but found weird that studio one recognizes those webview files as plugins xd and all of em comes from uad folders, so maybe the best u can do its make a clean uninstall of that plugin cause as far i understand, every folder (plugins from uad) has this webview file, so if any are corrupted in some way, can be logical to do this AND make a fresh start for the plugin scanner in bitwig, this would be the last part to make this work.
ill notice that your root its from arm64 ... are u sure u have to run that file? try to move that file/folder to another place temporari.

I found the problem, deleted the x86 and arm64 folders in the UAD plugin runtimes folder, kept only x64, and now everything seems fine.
    Thanks, really.

You were not clear that you had already updated WebView 2 and most importantly, that it was an self inflicted error caused by deleting files. The latter being Importatnt information when asking for help or looking for a solution.

    Rock on!
