Sennheiser HD + dearVR MIX ?

    Do any of you use this dearVR MIX? I bought Sennheiser HD490 Pro headphones and this comes with it so wondering how useful it might be? I never used any headphone correction software before. My order should arrive in a few days so any tips from you guys would be great!

    When Sennhiser bought DearReality, they ended active development of their software and just made most, or all of it, free. It does headphones correction, but it was more of a room and speakers simulator. It's closer to Acustica Sienna than it is to Sonarworks. For free, you can't really complain. I'd think you would probably want to use the headphones without it to learn them, before just throwing it on there.

    The new headphones arrived today :grooves: They sound very good as is and will certainly use as is, but still interested in any experienced user feedback and tips about this supplemental program.
