I know it still works on Windows with jBridge (they do jBridgeM for Mac OS X) if it normally worked on Mac that is or you can recreate similar sound in Vital

Took about 2hrs with Claude to reverse engineer the original dll and create a macOS version. It recalls in old FL Studio projects that used the original too. delaylamaARM64.jpg

yes, though it was not that simple. You have to either tell it what tools to use or let it figure out which tools to use to get the best result and then there's a bit of back and forth testing and revising until it nulls, looks correct and functions as you expect (UI/UX). This is a simple plugin so it took a lot less time than some others I've done. Give it a try with some older freeware stuff if you want to see what it's capable of.

its wild what these AI are capable of already. Can't imagine where they will be in a couple more years. Ive been using codex alongside claude, and codex is equally capable. Like @manicmazda said, it takes some back and forth, but once you get the hang of it its a lot of fun.

How much did it cost you to build it? The last time I tried Claude for coding, it got freaking expensive pretty quickly.

I don't want to derail this post too much so after this I won't be answering any more questions about this here. feel free to PM me with more questions. I use the Max plan and manage my usage across 20 different projects at a time. I've tried a ton of local LLMs and they're all either way too slow or just can't get it done the way Claude has been able to for me. With claude I can bounce around to different computers and still have the same results, not depending on the machine's hardware to do the heavy lifting.

You could have both installed just open one for the looks the other doing the actual work, you may get more out of the new version even if it doesn’t have the charm of the original

I'm sure that's a workflow that could be useful to someone. I don't use the plugin myself. just thought it was an interesting one to port.
