To mix like AI you need to use Ozone 12 in Assistant mode on every track, buss, send, ,premaster and master channel,

His philosophy of less is more gave us amazing records from the likes of Miles Davis, Frank Sinatra, Jefferson Airplane and Steely Dan. He garnered 23 Grammys and 160 Gold Records in his career. Imagine that AI gets so good at making music, that it can easily outperform the best humans who have ever made music.

Let's assume that we all have access to this AI, and can all generate this audio gold dust.

Why would you listen to my music, if you can just listen to your own?

Eventually everyone just ends up with an audience of one .... themselves.

 

Mixing for mobile phones translation, that's their target essentially, so drastic and surgical EQ-ing, lot of compression, controlled and minimal use of reverb/more drier sound. Those Nexus one key sequences are pretty much almost there source vise, Spire and Serum too, you can really get those sounding quite over the top "plastic" easily.

That clip to zero method is fastest way to get these results, you essentially just take the life out of everything for the loudness sake, go for less dense arrangements with elements that don't really clash that much or have much meat in them, so what you have distorts "gracefully".

Sure, suggesting Limiter 6 to somebody who doesn't even know how to produce music in the first place… great idea.

Besides that: it's the wrong tool for the job. The smart move would be to seperate the tracks with Ozone's Stem EQ to balance and mix them.

 

By the comments i can notice that people relates AI audio to heavy compression and aliasing. And i agree, that's why i see myself using less and less compression on my mixes.

My goal is the exact opposite of OP's. How to make people sure my mix it's not an AI mix.

 

Like that Sound System 009 track, sometimes i wish i could mix it like that, crappy but also somehow eternal...like it fits into a fabric of space and time.
