If I may offer a suggestion or two, the font of the golden badge is hard to read (the year of release especially). I don't yet need wearing reading glasses, and I had to zoom in the page to see it clearly. Just a thought.

Also, in the Filters, there perhaps ought to be a distinction between Analog, Digital, FM, Granular, Modeling, Vector and Wavetable synthesizers - maybe also Hybrid (there's a few of those on the market as well). No rush if you're busy, it's just a suggestion.

Thank you so much for visiting and for the kind words! It’s always great to hear from people who enjoy the project.

You were absolutely right about the golden badges. The font for the release year was a bit too small and the contrast was lacking. I just pushed an update to increase the font size and darken the text color to make it look more like deeply engraved metal. It should be much easier to read now, no reading glasses required!

Regarding the filters, they are actually already there! Because the objective of the website is to cover a maximum number of machines and not just the legendary ones, the database had to be structured very rigorously. If you click on the "Curator's Filters" button at the top, you'll see I separated these concepts into two distinct dropdowns to be technically accurate:

• Architecture: To filter by Analog, Digital, or Hybrid.
  
  
• Synthesis: To filter by the exact sound generation method (FM, Granular, Wavetable, Additive, Subtractive, Physical Modeling, Vector, etc.).
  

I realized that this filter menu, along with the "Inspect" drawer for each synth, wasn't obvious enough. Thanks to your feedback, I've just added a small animated onboarding guide (some little bouncing arrows) for new visitors so they don't miss these features anymore.

Indeed, they are - sorry I missed them, though in my defense, I clicked on Brands first, then Category, and Decade and started browsing.

Perhaps the Architecture and Synthesis labels should 1) be swapped* and 2) moved up to stand above Category. Just a thought.

And yes, the year is far more legible now, no glasses needed, thank you!

* EDIT * By swapped, I mean that "Architecture" should be Wavetable, FM, Granular, Subtractive, etc., and "Synthesis" should be Analog, Digital, Hybrid. Your decision of course, just figure it makes more sense if you're going to filter that precisely along those lines (commendably so I might add).
