The Saucer Pilots Banned From The World Cup !!!

So we popped back on the next flight home and put together a football inspired track instead.....

So there must be a few footie fans on here that have been glued to their World Cup screens over the last few weeks.....do you remember past glories like Maradona's hand of god, Pele or Messi dribbling around a whole team then scoring and even Zinedine Zidane ghosting past defenders like a twinkle toed poet in Nike's !

I only got to see Zidane live the one time here in Basel at St Jacob Stadium where FCB plays. It was a friendly game of all the best players at the time in Europe, 2003, a charity game entitled Match Against Poverty which was bi-hosted by Zidane and Ronaldo. I was kinda bummed out because nobody tried to score a goal, but listening to your glorious new tune was able to imagine Zinedine zipping past defenders to score the winning shot!

 

Soccer punched.

They're charging between $150 and $220 just to park outside the grounds. They're really going to milk the final. The first $1,000 hot dog and $100 ketchup sachet. $3,000 can of coke...

 

And also, watching it a few minutes after you released it on yutube I was curious about the offer to read what some AI explained your work, lol. It actually made sense

Seriously jealous, I remember this charity game, but, alas, never got to witness the legend in live action. To me the only similar player to hold a candle to the elegant skills and gazelle-like turn of pace, was the non-flying Dutchman, Dennis Bergkamp!

Nothing much a fan of "the beautiful game" can do about this flagrant, end-times capitalism. No matter how much these "suits" try to tarnish and corrupt our game, hopefully the football itself and the togetherness of opposing fans partying together will transcend this... but, hey, I'm a dreamer.

 

@Lois Lane bl**dy 'ell how did AI know all that? .....i thought we had made it up ....though very creative it get the 'Gap' thing wrong but it's theory of what it meant was probably better than our original thought.......it was just the 'gap' in the drums after i mentioned Zidane to emphasize his poetic skill level.
