i was trying to reinstall my nuendo 3 in my new computer, but it keeps being stuck at "Skipping file Stein__.ttf" does anyone have any solutions in this? cause i need nuendo 3 so bad to open my projects. (fyi im using win 11 rn)

There is none, inside the installer is just Setup and install folder

 

Wait, Cubase cant open Nuendo? Tried Nuendo 4?

It is a font file, it might exsist in your c:/windows already from before but ithe permission is locking it up or something w11 wierd..

 

does Nuendo 3 even compatible with Win 11? i think Nuendo 3 is outdated and only 32bit. I might be wrong but i think the old copy protection are whack already their server.

 

I don't use Windows anymore but if I remember well, you could open your Nuendo projects from Cubase 5 (in portable version from 2009 - no install - you can find it in several places).

 

Nuendo 11 supposedly has Windows 11 support and it can open Nuendo 3 projects. 32bit plugins will mostly need a bridge, like Jbridge. It will still allow VST2 plugins. You probably want to make a copy of a project you open with that kind of reverse compatibility, because if you open one and save it in N11, ususally there is no going back.

 

Nuendo 4 would open your nuendo 3 projects just fine and runs very well in Windows 11.
Get the good old air release from the sister.
(I don't know about newer versions, would be interesting if N15 would still open V3)
The air installer is very non invasive, that version even starts from the nuedo directory if you copy it from another computer.
//Edit// most of those ancient progs like it when running them as admin. So maybe your installer runs through in admin mode.

First of all quick info, Nuendo 3 works fine on Win10 and Win11, I still use it for work (don't ask why). As for that file it is skipping it because it is already in windows\fonts folder, you can try to remove it (or better temporarily move it to some other folder) before installation so if would copy it instead of skipping it. And check if your AV is blocking something, sometimes there are problems when you try to install old software on newer windows so you can try to disable it, install Nuendo and enable your AV after that.
