    I did tabs for a year. Killed all emotion. Worst thing ever.

    Then i started walking. 10000 steps a day, at least. After a few months of that i started lifting. A few years on and I'm way more balanced than I've ever been before. Plus I'm buff. Every lift that was better than the one before is a positive reinforcement. I'm in constant competition with who i was yesterday. And I'm winning.

    that's true. use the good times to write your songs in Major and the bad times for Minor. use what you've got. It was given to you by God anyway how can you refuse?

    Firstly, I think you have already been given some terrific advice.

    When you look after your fitness, whether it be controlled by brisk walks or healthy eating, your worries even for just a few seconds seem just that little bit less difficult to deal with.

    For me? I had a VERY near death experience. One day I might even share that, but one thing that it does do is, it makes you realise how important it is to enjoy every aspect of your life you can, because it really can be taken away from you in the matter of seconds. To that end, I say to myself, as long as I have control of what happens to me, I wont let negativity rule me. That is how I stay positive throughout.
    Whatever i cannot control, I refuse to let it.

    I hope with all the info you have been given above, along with my little contribution. it really helps..

    One other thing.. Everybody at some point in their lives needs someone to confide in.. If you don't have that, make it your number one goal.

    Damn, that scene is legendary. Pesci gives legit bad vibes and you're like "oh man, the other guy's dead..."
    To top it off I heard later he improvised that part. Wow.

    i often feel like crap too then i have a few beers but that doesn't really work either you don't get active you just want to lie on the couch and watch tv a good sleep routine is important

    Completely human condition given the world and times we live in. We are constantly bombarded with input from a myriad of sources and directions, and when the brain becomes used to this it becomes a cycle of dopamine release and depletion. I don’t believe we’re evolved to deal with the influx of never ending chaos fed to us thru our devices daily.

    Everyone is different, but for me, it’s pouring those feelings out on music. Channel everything you’re feeling into music and release it. It’s an extremely cathartic feeling to not only release all of that pent up emotion, but to revel in the aftermath of what you’ve created, even if it’s for an audience of one. YOU!
