Avatar ST Pro By HG Fortune Is Now Available As Freeware(32-bit VSTi)




HG Fortune has announced that the Avatar ST Pro hybrid synthesizer 32b VSTi plugin Windows is now re-released as freeware in addition to the rest of the brilliant NFG (short for Nearly Forgotten Gems) series.

Avatar ST is featuring a new generation of HG Fortune synths. Basically it is most suited for a large variety of pads, soundscapes, athmospheres or related FX sounds but can do other sounds like certain kinds of basses too.

The instrument was originally released back in 2010, offered in two different versions. The Pro version was priced at €39 and came without any limitations, while the Free version was limited to four voices and only featured 64 factory presets (as opposed to 128 presets in the Pro version). The freebie version also came with a reduced amount of oscillator waveforms. The Pro version of Avatar ST was on a huge sale at the end of last year.

Avatar ST Pro is one of HG Fortune’s most advanced instruments, suitable for creating complex pads and soundscapes. It features two PCM oscillators with 384 different waveforms, along with tons of modulation sources and built-in effects. The developer has spiced things up with three unique Mystify controls which can be used to modify the programmed sounds in unusual ways.
