Whether you like it or not, you have to live with it.As always, technology is both a blessing and a curse...!

AI comes from here: Planetary system 23, 4 billion kilometers away, at the Red Shield Galaxy—turn right... and stick to the speed limit of Mach 12, or else you'll get a hefty fine!

If AI scrapes human knowledge, and humans haven't a fucking clue how to cure cancer for example, then how the fuck is it supposed to... or anything else we don't know how to do.

For advertising campaigns ?
For touring ?
For albums ?
For streaming the same sh*t ?
...

So yes, go AI !
And destroy this world of LIES.

 

I am facing reality: AI is unstoppable.
I read up on the pros and cons, as well as how to protect myself and lead a self-determined life.

If things get really bad, I might eventually give up the internet, toss my smartphone in the trash.

AI is a product of human data accumulation!

First, knowledge was shared by word of mouth. Then it was carved into stone.
Then came the printing press. Then the PC and computer technology. Then came AI.

After that, we'll probably be storing data in glass, etc.!

haha yah. I saw something the other day, they figured out an organic hard drive of sorts, storing information within a cell.

and its a shit recipe!!

 

Food/cooking/recipes is unironically what I use AI for the most.

 

Amazing nobody has said "I told you so" considering how many people tried vehemently to say it wouldn't replace and steal everyone else's work on here for quite a long time. If anyone still bothers to read Global news, a few places already have redundancies due to A.I.
I am neither saying nay or yay, I want to see how far humans let it go before they wake up and remember it is only another tool, or if they follow the historical path of human ego and stupidity and let it completely run their lives to the point where it is almost irreversible like The Internet and everything is in it, including your bank accounts. Think on that one.

I don't get that part. Oversimplifying here, most people we are average consumers and a minority have most of the power.
So which group of people are you talking about, do the average people have a choice and these things would be necessary context for me

At one point I came to peace with the taught that majority of people are just speed running their demise and only thing they care about is few seconds of personal satisfaction even at the cost of someone else's entire life, they don't think that far ahead, they don't even care about themselves that far ahead. Talking to this people is pointless, they don't have ability to empathize, think rationally, they are guided by lowest common instincts.
