Try VTarAMPS , before the current ampsimp world.. 15 years ago I used this ampsim and it still sounds great today...
lately i've been trying Polarityaudio and AMP Locker form Audio assault
AMP Locker can run NAM makes it very flexible and has a large collection of amps fx, really like it because amplocker have jcm 800 modified

i never found it on the sister site but i remember i got it from a site that was in all Spanish, which i feel like i should remember because its the only other site ive been too and used.

 

Have you tried NAM's nano or feather captures? they're light weight versions meant to use less CPU. Also, while still in beta, the new A2 architecture is supposed to be more effiecient.

 

Yeah A2 is going to be a revolution.

Softube Amp Room

Over the years, Softube has worked with some of the biggest names in the music business like Marshall, Fender, Abbey Road and Universal Audio. In that time, they’ve developed their own bundle of powerful amp emulations, bringing together the best features of a number of classic amps.
Softube’s Vintage Amp Room features the White Amp based on the Marshall JCM800, the Brown Amp based on the Fender Twin and the Green Amp based on the Vox AC30.

Their Metal Amp Room was co-developed with Patrik Jensen (The Haunted) and tailored to his needs. Metal Amp Room features upgraded microphone emulations, allowing for stereo mics and adjustable panning. The cabinets were measured in the In Flames studio (previously known as Studio Fredman). Check out the presets for some of the studio engineers’ personal favorites.

Softube’s Bass Amp Room features an emulation of a Hiwatt DR103 amp, an Amp SVT cab as well as a few proprietary options.

 

One that hasn't been mentioned yet that I like is the Kuassa Amplifikation 360. A couple that have been mentioned that are quite good are the Otto 11 11 11 11. I honestly think it would be more successful if it didn't have that stupid name. For high gain stuff that thing is a beast! The Aurora DSP Rhino is a good one with a unique layout. The company formally known as MAGIX with Vandal is good.

There is one that doesn't exist that I am imagining in my head right now and it is incredible. I wish you guys could try it out. It sounds absolutely superb. It incorporates every good feature you could imagine. In the rack effect section there is even a dating app with girls who are guaranteed to put out because they like your playing so much. The stomp box section has a set of five different buzz (not fuzz) pedals with each one representing a different drug/intoxicant and when you push it that substance will show up at your door within 10 minutes. It really is something to behold!

New NAM A2 format will be "down scalable".
So you can make an high quality capture, and scale it down on the device itself (quality and CPU RAM ressources).

Man, I apologize for that. I'll write something that I think is clever or funny one night and then a couple of days later I will read it again and it's just stupid and half the time flatout embarrassing. This is one of those. I can't even bring myself to read the whole thing. It's an issue that I've noticed over time, yet I keep doing it. Hopefully my thumbnail picture can make up for some of my bullshit. In fact sometimes I do the same myself. I can relate. I would start saying something interesting like "well the AMD 7800 X3D has mixed results in DAWs because..."
And then can't help myself and throw my usual cheeky bad joke "But I only notice that when I'm on LSD because I have a 4 core cheap-ass CPU"

Then two days later I see some people has voted funny that comment in my notifications where I can only see the first part ("the AMD 7800 X3D has mixed results in DAWs...")
My face at that moment -> Cheers!

Like I said: it has most likely been DMCA'd and taken down from the sister site. I think I know which Spanish site you're talking about, but I think it's gone. It was only doing re-uploads from the sister site anyway.

There's a certain Russian that you can find most things on though. You just have to get through the account registration procedure (that's all in Russian) to be able to do searches. If you don't want to do that you can simply search on DuckDuckGo/Brave Search/Startpage etc for "name of the Russian site" + "name of software" and use the links to torrent stuff from there.
