I had to test new sounds for the Independence sampler

 

Due to lack of time, this piece is a bit short.

 

Sweeet, I love it!
When the bassdrum starts, I would give it a little companion on 2 and 4, somtehing snare like or clap like, with a lot of long, narrow, centered reverb.
Somehow, the BD feels a little alone for quite some time imho.
And I'm fine with the duration of the track, doesnt need to be longer.
PS: Interesting, you use samplitude for sequencing, for me it used to be a tracker and audio editor for a long time.
I know it does midi (it didn't in very early versions), but somehow I never considered it as something like live or cubase.

 

@Plendix Samplitude does MIDI very well, but as you can see my system is still Windows 7, this is Magix version, I haven't tested the Boris FX version yet, but it will probably work, Kontakt 8 portable works as well

 

The magix versions were good ones, oh my samplitude came such a long way from Sekd times.
I need to check it out again, I haven't touched it a long time.
I LOVED the clip based editing. That was such a huge step!
