A BRIEF INTRO INTO NEW UI:

1) The UI is still organised into pages but there is now a 'MAIN' page which acts as a host

2) Page switch menu: click on [REVERSIDE] button in the top panel to access it

3) Click on Reflections Display (left top one) to switch to SPACE page where you can edit all
Early Reflections settings. Once on it click again on the display to get back to the main page.
Or you can press 'backspace' key on keyboard (provided that host does not intercept it) to return to the main page.
This way you can quickly go into deeper editing and back

4) The same applies to Rev Display (right top one)

5) Double-click on Position Display (mid top one) to switch to Full Position Display. and again
double click there to return. Single mouse click is reserved for dragging the scene

6) Select [MAT] tab in the bottom right corner. Material filter display will show up.
Hover mouse over it and you will see semi-transparent sliders. There are 3 of them. They represent
the 3 band's gains which you can quickly adjust without leaving the main page. Double-click on the
filter's display to switch to [FILTER] page with the full editor (and the same way back)

7) The same applies to [DCY] filter and EQs

- Presets were not loading correctly on some systems on fresh plug-in instantiation bug fixed
- Early Reflections Decay value of -100% was nullifying tap gains bug fixed
- Filter/EQ Mini Displays display now support changing frequency axis mapping by mouse wheel
- Filter/EQ Curves did not update on frequency mapping change
- Filter Mini Displays had ghost curve drawing when filter gain panning was reset bug fixed
- EQ Filter controls are now disabled if filter node is off
- Mat/Dcy Filters did not have LF > HF frequency protection when changing by param controls
- Mat/Dcy Filters glitch on U-shape band settings and low Q values bug fixed

Hi Denis! I haven't followed this thread at all, and am trying to understand Reverside. The "up to 200 early reflections" thing, is that meant to be used with different instances of the plugin across various elements in a song? Adjusting the the early reflections to "place' an element in the room?

 

"up to 200 early reflections"

this means that you can make Reverside to use up to 200 of early reflections (ERs). generally the more reflections, the more realistic the room would sound (or it feels like more *presence*). however since there are also late (diffused) reflections, practically 20-50 ERs are more than enough for all typical reverb applications. If you are not sure what number to use set it to [AUTO] mode.
So >50 values are useful if you want to create some ambience (spatial impression of an acoustic space) without late/diffuse reverb tail or for creating some FX.
