    Hi Folks,

I'm trying to figure if there are things like this

    https://www.thomann.fr/nux_b_5rc_wireless_system.htm

but for headphones. (and of course that can emit from the audio interface and not only receive, or that can only emit from the audio interface)

I find many models in mono, a few in stereo, all aimed at guitarists or bassists.

I don't expect same quality as with wires, it is more for long creative or composing sessions.
    And whynot not musical stuff.

I'm struggling to find an answer. Maybe I'm not wording my search in google well enough also.

    Thanks!

Dunno if this is helpful for you (at work so gotta be quick) but I have my rme ucx ii going into a topping dx5 ii via optical. The topping has blue tooth connectivity so that might be an option. Probably cheaper options out there too.

    SKAA (Streetheart/Akiko) --> www.skaastore.com/products/streetheart?_su_rec=Yc-JKSajngcU1Q-5ooctkiCrYb9bhGNmo8ZdK7DtOfIKiAJH9xIWcrmoXMa4Zfu_NP6HE8Z31AfE2NR1nK0AiyoWG37xT4p34AbKWojOV8Mn21db4MWU-tm5zVr6Hs5dXMaScRTICdDJ3F1x1ul3yhUowZ-5sBRl5I4DMJEbvc5MElwzY8ZlrbUgfFPaHijH9b2Nqy8rngHLfzsYoIIX31H5SM3G37ls94jfA0Yn7g2a2_ZbxP-FupM7ThY&_su_rec_id=b47db172-a718-4acd-a1ba-1db096d63252-1778175969

Finding a wireless system for headphones that matches the "plug-and-play" simplicity of the NUX B-5RC
(but in stereo) is tricky because most instrument wireless systems are mono by design.

Have to agree with @macros-mk2. You want to maintain as much quality/detail as possible when using WiFi or Bluetooth. Topping is one of the best options at a lower price. Not "cheap". Just a lower price ( hundreds vs thousands).

    Topping MX3s
    https://www.toppingaudio.com/product-item/mx3s

$279 CAD on Amazon (about 174 EUR).
    $278 CAD on Topping Store.

Thank you for all your advices.

    I checked every link.

What I searched for was something more like Olaf said. Excepted that I thought there were alternatives to Amazon stuff but not as expensive as the other ones shown. I've searched for LDAC emitters, but I found only LDAC receivers. Other LDAC ones were both receivers and emitters and around 100 €.

I looked at Topping products. It seems really good but high end and too expensive for what I intend to use it for.
I think the particular one you linked can only receive audio by bluetooth, not send it to headphones.
    Thanks for the help anyway.

To be honest, I don't know anything about DAC or headphones amplifier. I only have headphones that cost around 200-300€ max.

I've been looking at the different latencies and rates of codecs and it seems like even if LDAC is way more qualitative than the rest, it can't beat the latency of AptX LL and AptX adaptative.

I've finally opted for an Aptx adaptative emitter to privilege latency over transfer rate.

I ended up hesitating between 2 model among which was the first of the top trasmitters list of the Ny times you linked. (but I had already bought the other ! hope I won't be deceived.)

    Thanks again.

Doh! Ive never used the blue tooth on the topping (cables galore at my place) so I didnt even think about whether it was just able to recieve not send. Anyhow sorry for sending you on a rabbit chase, hope that your purchase solves your problem!

No problem! I went on topping website. I didn't even know that brand so I will sleep less idiot. They have a bunch of models for DAC, Headphones and both.
They even make the type of stuff I was looking for in LDAC but as always, receiver only.

True DAC are just an overkill for what I needed.
It would take ages for me to chose a model. I don't understand deeply all the technical aspects in the specs.
My Rme user manual taught me some but I don't feel quite at ease.

i watched too many videos from mixphones youtube channel apparently. cause first i bought hifiman ananda nano's based off their recommendation, then realized the rme couldn't drive them properly so then i bought the topping based off their recommendation. i'm pretty happy with everything monitoring wise currently after i eq'd them to the harman target though. now i'm much more confident about mixing down my mediocre (at best) music! haha. maybe i should have spent that money on like vocal lessons or music theory classes or something first lol.

There are so many Brands for everything. And so many products for one task...
I can say the same thing about my music I guess ^^ . Excepted I tend to adapt to where I am more than that I tend to process sound like with Harman.
I have IK ARC X however. I wanted to try once and it was affordable so... And it is not as bad as I feared. (to me!)
This time it was just to suppress wires sometimes but not for any real monitoring demanding tasks like mixing. More like compose or tweak.
