Hi, I just picked up a new Softube Control Fader MK III. I don't have the other one (Control).

Using Win 11, Reaper. The thing works great, but I want to put my cracked Fab Filter plugins in the channel strip. they're the only ones currently compatible besides UAD stuff. I can't get them to show up!

They're in the default VST3 folder... does anyone have this (or Control) and been able to get the FF's to load? It's the new version of the hardware, not the original fader. There doesn't seem to be a way to add them to the drop down list.

 

I'm not sure but I think I have read that only pro-q4 is available at the console....maybe iam wrong

 

Could you put multiple FF plugins into a saved plugin chain inside Bluecat's Patchwork and then create a controller map inside your DAW?
I think you are going to need to use some workaround like that.

 

Reading this over a year later....
I have the Console 1 MkIII hardware, and I have never been able to get any cracked versions of compatible software (i.e. FabFilter, Plugin Alliance, or any cracked Softube stuff) to show up as an option within the Console 1 vst. Using Reaper as well. Did you ever get FabFilter to show?

 

Unfortunately, it still doesn't work... I have no idea why. Two Bubbix releases work—the Maäg EQ and something else I can't remember right now because I'm not at my computer.
