William Patrick Muldoon III (born September 27, 1968 in Los Angeles, California; died April 19, 2026 in Beverly Hills, California) was an American actor and singer.

Muldoon was born in 1968 in the San Pedro neighborhood of Los Angeles. His father was of Irish descent, and his mother was of Croatian descent. After graduating from Loyola High School, he attended the University of Southern California, where he also played football for the USC Trojans. In 1989, he was photographed for the Men of U.S.C. calendar, which led to a modeling contract and shoots for Calvin Klein.

Later, he turned to acting, and after roles in several television series, he landed his first feature film role in 1993 with Rage and Honor II. From 1995 to 1996, he had a larger role in the television series Melrose Place. He became known to a wider audience in 1997 for his role as Zander Barcalow in Paul Verhoeven's science fiction film Starship Troopers. Afterward, he primarily appeared in smaller direct-to-video and mockbuster productions. He continued acting until the very end, appearing in more than 90 productions. From 2013 onward, he also worked as an executive producer.

In addition to his acting career, Muldoon was also a musician and the lead singer of the band The Sleeping Masses.

Muldoon died of a heart attack on April 19, 2026, at the age of 57.
