i'm sorry if this has been covered elsewhere already. i searched for an answer, but couldn't find it. i have never installed omnisphere on my laptop. i want to install the latest version for windows that is available but i also want to be able to install some of the 3rd party libraries that were written for omnisphere 2. what is the sequence of steps to get everything up and running?

 

Download and manually install the Omnisphere 3 factory library from sister site. Install latest Omnisphere from sister site. Crack it. Download and import your older Omnisphere presets.

 

Came here waiting for the "why do you want omnisphere, XYZ is way better" comments.

So, Latest Omni 3 Lib has all the updates in it ?
I had Omni 1 and the updates all together where bigger than the original.
I dont talk about 3th party.
Same question is also for Trilogy.

 

Those times they had - presest / patches and Library updates seperate

 

Has the process changed? It was challenging to keep up with all the updates.

 

If U install latest Omn.3 and latest Omn library download.. it will include All 30 odd thousand presets conveniently procured into all of their new their individual libraries. legacy libraries as well as Trilian, Bob Moog, Keyscape, and all 4 Sonic Extensions.

Literally THE most comprehensive library of sounds on the planet and well worth paying for it, let alone getting it for free.
