Hi everyone!

I've used R2R's Ableton Live 12 Suite v12.3.6 from sister site (and their earlier versions for years) with no issues. However, as I open Ableton today, I was requested to activate my license (again?), for some odd reason. When I then try to drag-and-drop the Authorize-file, it says: "Some products could not be authorized due to an internal error. Please visit www.ableton.com/account/request-unlocks."



Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried to re-install and also used the old keygen method, but the same message appears when trying.

I'm using Windows 10 and have never had this happen literally overnight?

This happend to me to and i still dont know why. i fixed it by uninstalling via revo-uninstaller and after that it worked again. but this was an older version of live 12. and im in windows 11.

 

Have you tried excluding the Ableton's folder from the antivirus scan ? Perhaps it's deleting the file "vcruntime140_1.dll" by R2R ?

 

before i stopped using win defender every now and then vcruntime140_1.dll would just vanish so i keep a backup of it

 

Just delete that damn Windows Defender already and install Bitdefender Antivirus Free instead!
