Exposing Bad Customer Service!

    A while ago i saw another topic about "Comcast Customer Services Call" by SirSillySausage and now i found this new "101%" :wow: experiment about how much accurate a store's customer service is nowadays.

    They almost don't even move their asses.

    Years ago, I used to work in the Customer Service department of Musician's Friend. About half of the people that I talked to seemed genuinely surprised to get in contact with someone who would actually help them with their problem. Very sad. Nearly all of the other employees were complete wastes of human life--content to let fellow musicians get screwed in various ways.

    People would place orders for other colors of guitars and not tell the customer (out of stock on the color they wanted). They would place orders and not tell the customers that the product was backordered for 6 months. They would act totally uncaring when someone's $3000 Gibson semi-hollowbody electric guitar showed up smashed to death... No one seems to care any more. I ended up telling customers to switch to Sweetwater lol.

    regarding bad customer service: one company leads it:

    reFX!!! not regarding their dongle policy, its regarding their dealing with the customers.

    yea reFX seem to be doing pretty badly on several fronts, i had almost forgotten about them

    hoping someone cracks nexus 2 before I get my career going otherwise I'll buy it and I'd hate to support that company. They have a policy where you can't transfer the license and sell the product, and one customer didn't realize it, so he wrote them and said he was selling his computer with nexus on it and would like to know how to transfer. Refx told him he can't do that and since he asked about it, they would terminate his current license. That was pretty recent but heir bad reputation dates back a decade.

    Very few companies do actually seem to care about customers.
    Even more on the audio daw/plugins/vst instruments side.

    i remembered m-audio s customer service sucked,even befroe being bought by digidesign and then avid
