maybe worth a mention, but this also installs a plugin scanner application which you might want to firewall in directly. The first scan checks every plugin of the format you allow it to scan, so you may want to do that offline or blocking the scanner app before running it.

It's not much of a difference with BlueCat's Patchwork or any other wrapper/manager type of thing, but instead of the standalone version allowing whatever plugin you load a possible way past your firewall rules to phone home; these scanners might be more like a conference call you want to avoid.
