Started playing Skald - Against the Black Priory and digging it so far. CRPG with period appropriate C64/SID music, graphics style, and writing. If you like HP Lovecraft, you might like this game's writing.

Currently eyeing Terra Invicta... maybe a little too hardcore for me, but I like the overall idea.

    Fallout 3

Unlike its two predecessors, Fallout 3 is set not on the West Coast, but on the East Coast of the USA, in the capital city of Washington, D.C. The scenario is based on a post-apocalyptic world in the year 2277. On October 23, 2077, the world was largely destroyed by the "Great War," a two-hour nuclear exchange between the USA and China. Only those who found refuge in gigantic nuclear bunkers, known as Vaults, escaped this war unscathed; everyone else either perished or was otherwise harmed.

That’s a solid lineup you’ve got going on. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is perfect for that “play whenever you have time” vibe, especially since the side quests and exploration are so rewarding on their own. You can easily spend hours just roaming without touching the main story. Devil May Cry 5 really does look impressive from what I’ve seen too, the character models and overall polish stand out a lot, and it seems like they toned down some of the cheesiness while keeping the fast paced combat that makes the series fun. I completely get your point about Tekken 7 as well. It’s one of those games that’s fun at a casual level, but once you start getting deeper into it, the learning curve gets pretty intense and time consuming. I still find myself going back to older games now and then, especially things like Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, there’s just something about those classics that never really gets old.

I've finished the ALTERS. Really interesting and thought provoking game. Nice OST, great writting and acting. You'll get sucked by the history.

I used to like playing DOOM (all of the known WADS) with somebody else on local LAN, it was fun to see others die live, hahaha. Don't play it anymore because of lack of co-op friends willing to.

Loved Silent Hill, but I have no place to put a PS2 and I have no gamepad anymore so not to talk about playing it on a computer...

Besides that, I've always loved adventure games (point & click) so you'll laugh at me when I'm saying last games I played it was last month because of a lack of creativity and they were:

Agatha Christie: And Then There Were None (2005)

Agatha Christie: Murder on the Orient Express (2006)

And I have to say they were interesting...

I used to be spooked by Max Payne, but for sure super stressed playing AVP, that was closest to insanity, so anxious.

Circa 2013 when Quake Live was up, i was "top charting" for a several months, it was probably the peak of my reflexes and eye twitching, i would just become conscious after 2-3 hours of complete subconscious "predatory sense overload". I would come from work and prepare for an hour or two before going online, stats was the only thing i was focused on, i just needed to be the best even if i was 2nd in a round.
FX was also cool, it felt real, players sounded like the score mattered.

    Anyway

I´ve finished Pokemon leaf-Green in around 35 hrs few days ago. :hahaha: (i cant believe i actually played it)

I redid a full run of Dark Souls 1-3 and Elden Ring again. It's a meditative experience having some of the most beautiful sceneries and creepy places ever translated into a game.

...man that DS2 DLC in NG+ is still brutal. One for masochists like me.

Quake 2 is the one game that actually scared the shit out of me, and I was about 25 or so when it dropped heh. Was up late one night playing with headphones on (Mom used to complain about the gun shot noise at 1am hahaha). One of those strogg fuckers comes out the dark with his "TRESSPASSA" jive and smacked me, god damn I literally jumped out of my seat. I've been playing video games for like 45-46 years now (got our first Atari 2600 in like 1980-81), and no other game has ever done that to me.

Didn't mind dueling in QL it was a lot of fun, but I only played vs mates not competitively. I did however watch pros play all the time - rapha/strenx/cooler and a bunch of others.

I was also a bit of an aim-whore didnt matter which FPS I played; in regards to reflexes I would score 0.1750 on average for this test back in those days - https://aim400kg.com/game/3

You should have a crack at it.
