Sounds like a PC/system issue. If it is a Synchron Player issue - IMO unlikely - not enough information begin to debug it at a distance.

The first release of Synchron Player (v1.3.2652) was great; no stability issues. AFAIK reported issues where all user related, and resolved.

In your case, might not hurt to do a clean uninstall - run windows uninstall then do a manual cleanup of all Synchron Player remnants - and install the more recent release. See what happens.

Which of your installed libraries are missing from Flow View?

Also, please confirm player version you are using

All of the libraries besides Synchron Strings and Dimension Brass are missing from Flow View. Latest versions of both Synchron Player & Synchron Pianos installed from sister site. I've tried wiping my system several times down to the registry level of anything VSL related. Reinstalling VSLEmu, Rebuilding cache, checking syvolume files & R2RVSL*** files.

    Cheers me dear

It was USB related, I've stabilized my PC by switching USB ports off and rebooting, so will leave as is for now, didn't think it was the player though.

I have a similar issue. What drives the Flow option: The library data (syvolume) or the R2R files (R2RVSLSYN). Thanks

Re Flow View... after doing some deeper reading on the VSL website, my understanding is for a library to work in Flow View changes are made in the Player and the library coding. Both need to be updated to access Flow View.

Updating to the latest player without updating the libraries themselves = no change in view options.

Thank you - so we would need updated libraries therefore. :) But than - obviously, not a major issue. :)

    That's my understanding.

I'm used to working in Precision View, but I understand why some folks might be bummed at not having all libraries accessible in Flow View. Might be best for release teams to wait until all the libraries have been updated to work in Flow, then update the players.

If its an outdated library issue, than how is @ItUsed and other members posting pics of Flow View populated?

For It_Used, pretty sure he has updated versions of the libraries and the players. The latest player releases on the sister came from him.

    I've msg'd him for clarification...
    ... and confirmed by It_Used.

He said he's not planning to try to keep up with each version as it comes out. He doesn't have the disk space to keep every library installed, or the time to test every library with each update.

Perhaps, when all the libraries are updated to Flow View, a new release will appear. For now, we can be grateful for what we we have. Those are my thoughts, not a projection/promise from It-Used.

**For the record, I still haven't moved past v1.3.2652 for Synchron player. Personally fine with Precision View and have no issues with any of the libraries I have installed. All the Synchron winds, brass and most strings are there in Flow View if I want to explore.

Not 100% on this, but the requirement to update both the player and libraries to stay up to date with Flow View upgrades is an efficiently-effective obstacle on VSL's part. It's certainly not impassable, but is a tedious hiccup to deal with.
