You should deactivate Defender beforehand!

When I click to install this program, it opens a control window, but it doesn't install anything at all. So if I restart my PC, the program closes immediately. What's the point of running this program?

 

It allows you to change all those settings it shows. Those changes persist even after you reboot. You have to change them back if you want to undo them. It's not like a firewall you install and it keeps running. It gives you easy access to those settings without digging all over the place to find them.

I just know how those kinds of "tweak" programs work without being added to your startup applications and services, and that I would download any redistributable dependency packages from Microsoft directly, and which I had to run to use one of Mochas recent keygens on Windows 10. (the one for Rave Generation Sonic Sweep 2).

Your problem probably started off with something silly in the first place. Since most of what you have been offered as "help" has likely just been the output of an AI, I would at least go directly to source of such information. Go on chatgpt.com and ask it this: "0xc0000005 error on pc". You could change PC to Windows and whatever version you are running.

You can rule out well over half of it immediately. The first thing to consider, is why you were reinstalling Windows in the first place. Did you skip installing graphics drivers for your GPU? And so on. Now you are probably creating problems on your DAW computer that will come back and bite you in the ass later. For a plugin you don't even need....

 

You should really leave it as it is.

It's no problem for me if I can't use this software. There are so many ways to achieve good results without it, and freeware alternatives, if used correctly, can deliver excellent results.

What I liked about Stutter Master was its ease of use, but delving into audio techniques is enriching, so ultimately I'm not losing anything, quite the opposite.

The plugin isn't expensive ($40 at the moment), but my budget is extremely tight to allow for this kind of expense.

There is nothing wrong with that keygen. Here is a screenshot of it with it running in a Crossover Windows 10 bottle, with no special effort.
Crossover is Windows software running on a Mac, and if there is anything even remotely wrong with the .exe file it will not run, or it will need some additional effort. So before you started doing all of these settings changes to your system, you could have run another keygen from the same releaser to see if it is not just your Windows settings, Permissions and Ownership, firewall settings, missing drivers, and the like.

Instead, you have been guessing at stuff on a brand new Windows OS install.

If it works well for you, enjoy! For me, the keygen opened fine at first, and each time I clicked "Register," it told me it had been registered.

But when I launched Stutter in Cubase, it opened the plugin with a small window asking me to enter an email address. I thought this was part of the process, so the first time I did it with the same email address I'd entered in the keygen, and the operation resulted in an "Authorization Failed" message. That's all.
Then I started installing Java packs as suggested by PulseWave, and that's when error message 0xc0000005 started appearing. Since then, no matter what settings I change, this error message has never stopped appearing.

I suspect that I should never have entered an email address when opening the plugin in Cubase, and that this triggered some kind of unavoidable authorization process with the Vox Samples website.

This is the first time I've encountered such a complex problem with a keygen. I know that generally, what's offered on the website works, but now there's nothing I can do on my computer; error 0xc0000005 appears every time I try to open the keygen.

Yesterday I was talking to you about reinstalling Windows because I thought it might restore my Windows 10, and even better, install my system image backup that I made last week, in order to restore Windows 10 to the same state of settings it was in before trying Stutter Master, but unfortunately, I don't have much time for that at the moment.

I'll add that I tried redownloading it as suggested by PulseWave, in case there was a corruption issue, but it didn't work.
