So very sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to say goodbye. I lost my Dad years ago.....and my Mom is about to turn 90.
It's a blessing that your Mom did not have to suffer.

 

Becoming the Patriarch of my family way younger than any man should, I nearly did not post because of the compassion and empathy I felt reading your post. Mainly because grief is different for everyone, and I do not know if there is such a thing as the right words in a time like this.
While there is nothing I can say to make you feel wonderful, my own Solace was that my parents live on through me as your parents live on through you and it took a while, but when I think of them it is always with a smile, joy and gratitude. There is no consolation and I bow to you and the people on here who messaged you above who all showed their true colors of kindness and empathy.

Sorry to hear about your loss, your family is in my prayers. She lived a long productive life at 90 though for sure.

 

Sorry for your loss. I hope you had the opportunity to tell her about your feelings (i didn´t have that chance, as covid took her in 2021 and I was living in another continent). My condolences.

 

Sorry for your loss, mothers are the most special and important persons in our lives, my condolences may your mother rest in Peace.
My mum passed at 97 peacefully in her sleep, no dementia or mental deterioration either, I miss her immensely every single day even though that was 15 years ago.
