What a lovely photograph... I hope you are looking after yourself Synth Life... It's an incredibly hard thing losing your mother as they are most often the person who has given us the most... So very sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to say goodbye. I lost my Dad years ago.....and my Mom is about to turn 90.
It's a blessing that your Mom did not have to suffer.

 

Becoming the Patriarch of my family way younger than any man should, I nearly did not post because of the compassion and empathy I felt reading your post. Mainly because grief is different for everyone, and I do not know if there is such a thing as the right words in a time like this.
While there is nothing I can say to make you feel wonderful, my own Solace was that my parents live on through me as they live on through you and it took a while, but when I think of them it is always with a smile, joy and gratitude. There is no consolation and I bow to you and the people on here who messaged you above who all showed their true colors of kindness and empathy.
