For musicians, the creative part is fun, but the tedious spotting and Foley work can drain your energy. That’s where ACE Studio’s Video Composer comes in. Think of it as your collaborative co-producer and Foley artist that handles the heavy lifting, so you can focus on the music. Get Ace Studio:

AI has got a lot better with its sounds, but it still only seems to manage only volume dynamics and not intensity.

for a moment I thought it was AI generating video for the music until I watched a little of it. I probably might have looked further if so. Many of us can do our own music to video but writing a tune of one's own and having video created for it appropriately by AI would be more enticing and the AI may be more successful with some people for a desktop application.

@yabiss you disagree? Why. Did you listen to the results in the video?

Omg, what the fuck that foley edit was about? No video/sound editor is going to take that thing seriusly for christ sake. Do you know that we have folders and folders of quality foleys and that we take less time than the video to drop them and adjust them perfectly to the footage, right?

C'mon peolpe, stop doing/promoting slop software. Diffusion models are great for a lot of things but this is cringe af.

Yes. Life is not black and white. I'm old enough to have heard this very kind of comment against computers , DAWs, and before that, synths and sequencers.
Yet. Evolution has integrated these tools. AI will follow the same pattern. I'm using it to sing as i can't on my music. It is my lyrics and my music and i use Suno to get a singer (fluent enough in my country, it's rare) on those tracks. Tracks that were unfinished for decades. So this exemple is not the best there is,i agree, but 'AI slop' is as irrelevant today as "Sequencers make the music instead of musicians " was yesterday. If tomorrow i find a real singer, then i'm 100% ok with getting Suno out of my workflow.

Fully disagree. I've heard this excuse many times before from those who defend the use of AI. This is a false comparison.

Using AI to replace creativity is NOTHING like using new tools to create or perform music. How can you honestly compare using a synthesizer (as a new technology), or a DAW to an LLM that thinks for you?

I would be more sympathetic to machine learning if it helped with the drudgery or repetitive tasks, or if it even acted as an assistant. But these stupid websites replace creativity. It takes away the FUN part. What's the point of being a musician if you aren't creating?

This is pure scam. I'm seeing lots of producers and youtubers endorsing this one while they diss Suno for "unethical AI use blablabla". In the end it's just AI Slop, same as Suno. BTW you can do the same thing on Suno using pro plan. It's not better or worse, is generative AI as much as any other service like this. The only difference is marketing. While this one is marketed towards musicians and sponsored by other musicians, Suno is directed for any one. This is the only difference.

Nice you're having a good time but the OP is about a software that try to appeals profesional video and sound editors. The only thing I've to give credit to the guy is that he didn't edit the raw results from the diffusion to make them appear like something you can remotely use.

I'm actively experimenting with the latent space both on image and audio, I've comfyUI workflows that took me months to take them to the point they are, and I keep doing it for fun when I've time. I think the latent space is the new pigment of our era but this software is just a wrapper around a model, unoriginal and with really unusable results.
