Hello, I downloaded and installed it, along with the Fermata Engine, but I can't get it to work. I followed the instructions.

When I try to run it as a plugin, it says "chipsynth OPS7 needs to be reinstalled, it's missing some important components".
It also says:
"Instrument
OPS7 from bank:1107 was not found!
Effect
Ambience from bank:1107 was not found!
Effect
Delay from bank:1107 was not found!"

I can see its GUI, but it has no presets, no patches, no modules I can tweak, and it doesn't make any sound. I installed it and the Fermata Engine. Can someone help me? I really need this.

Q:Why do I need to install R2R Root Certificate?
A:First, we need to patch ARIA / Fermata Engine.
Plogue software checks the signature of these engines before loading.
To pass that validation, we signed our patched ARIA / Fermata Engine by our certificate.
Thanks to our signature, AAX is working in legit ProTools.
Q:What is the difference between ARIA and Fermata?
A:ARIA is Gen1 Engine. Old software uses this.
Fermata is Gen2 Engine. Recent software uses this.
Q:How can I use Garritan library?
A:You can load libraries from Garritan ARIA Player.
Garritan Abbey Road CFX Concert Grand has its own player.

The "Plogue.Chipsynth.OPS7.v1.007-R2R" works, but you have to install this first.
1.) Plogue.ARIA.Engine.v1.9.7.1.Incl.Patched.and.Keygen-R2R
2.) TEAM R2R Root Certificate-R2R

Download and Install:
Plogue ARIA Engine v1.9.7.7 Incl Patched and Keygen-R2R

The "Plogue.Chipsynth.OPS7.v1.007-R2R" works, but you first need to install this, which contains a keygen. With this keygen, you generate a PNG file (the key) for the relevant plugins, which you then simply drag and drop into your plugin to register it. A few images are attached.

I see, thank you very much! I was following those instructions but it was a bit vague, I didn't know I had to install ARIA as well! I'll try it now!

 

I realized that the main issue I was facing was related to the CLAP plugin, which wasn't loading in Bitwig 6. I was able to get it working with the VST3 plugin ^-^

 

I went down the "chip" hole last year. I had to go thru a learning curve. But, I wasn't happy with it. I discovered the Sampleson DX7 and it is perfect. I think a witch took a look at it and left it.

 

I found one named "Sampleson Glassy", that's what you mean right? I'll give it a go, thank you ^-^ OPS7 already sounds much better than other DX7 emulations, but I wouldn't say no to an even better one ^-^
