Oh wow... that looks bad. is that because of the iphone cpu in the neo or is the ram the limiting factor here?

 

Limiting factor is that it's 2 cores mobile CPU in one DAW and 6 cores in other where 4 are weaker then those two, also A18 isn't really an typical M core, they try to pitch it as M4, but it's something resembling M2/M3 while performing as M1, it's Apple, this is kind of stuff they do, give you on the spoon just the "right" amount of everything year after year, where you always feel like buying something new will kinda give you something, buying something older isn't really quite there and so on.
