i been thinking about this for quite some time now..

but what if... each sound file you own or ever owned is special and unique?

the mp3 files you ripped from your CDs.. doesnt it make it somehow unique because its YOUR cd or dvd.
its hard to explain what i am trying to say but even if the sound is the same is the file data basically... different from other?

 

If you think the rip is “special,” the burden of proof is literally one null test away.

Remember that these files were usually painstakingly created by other people.
If you show appreciation for the creators of the files, these files become more valuable.

Everything you own musically at home, you probably bought or received as a gift, but behind all these products are people.

Take synthesizers, for example: first, the iron ore has to be mined and processed to make the jacks for your audio plug. The oil for your black and white keys also has to be extracted from the earth, processed, then manufactured in a factory, and so on.

In the end, your synthesizer is assembled from hundreds of parts from different countries and then shipped to your retailer's warehouse. Finally, the delivery person brings your package to your door, and even the box was made by people.

Appreciation also means thinking about and thanking all the people involved in the production and supply chain.
