My question is for you internet gurus. My ISP only provides me with a static IP address. Does this mean that I can't use a multi-link download program like most of you do? It's my understanding that I have to have a dynamic IP address setup to use these programs. Is there any way I can remedy this without changing service providers? Thanks.

 

Forget my question. I found a solution to my problem, staring me in the face the whole time, and I was wrong about my initial assumption concerning my ISP.

 

No you do not need any particular type of address setup by your ISP.

Your understanding of networking and the internet is flawed and you misunderstand how things work.
I would suggest that you read some basic info on the Internet & Networking.

I have attached a pdf file which gives a simple overview of TCP/IP Networking, on which the Internet is based.
This is probably too technical but it is difficult to find a simple guide that is at the right level.
(Most simple guides are too general to be useful)

I am assuming that you mean you want to download multiple files from AudioZ or similar.
