Does the splice integration work in cracked ableton? The option doesn’t even show up on the side with ableton 12.3.5

 

Do you have your DAW blocked by a firewall? Most people do that so plugins can not connect to anything via internet.
I wouldn't worry about Splice caring about my DAW, but if Splice is blocked from the internet because your DAW is firewalled, you will have to figure out a way for your firewall to allow just the plugin out to connect to the Splice service.

Splice are not going to make their products not work with a DAW, because the people using that DAW are not their customers. They are not Avid.
