Unless this is news about the fact that mickeysoft is removing all the spyware, garbage updating, and telemetry from future win11 builds then this is nothing but "mootness" IMO...

Of course we can do all this on our own but it would be nice to have a windows build out of the box that didn't try to fuck you in the ass as soon as you apply it to a system.

...until then of course we have our superlite staples which will always take the place of any OEM build simply because it is preferable to have most of the reverse engineering grunt work out of the way beforehand.

obviously unlikely but id like to see my daw (ableton) build their own linux style os with an option so i can boot straight to daw this would be a power move but not going to happen so whatever be great to not deal with windows intrusive crap revios works fine for me to debloat but shouldn't be needed if windows did a better job
