I have not tried this but I've fixed a lot of problems with not-running-vsts in the past. Try using ImageLine MiniHost Modular. I have plans also to try running two SD-1s in it or one SD-1 in one instance of MiniHost Modular, and a second SD-1 in a second MiniHost modular, and so on. It might work. Might not work. There are other hosts within a host you can try too. I don't know them all. There must be some on Mac.

P.S. I guess MiniHost Modular exists on Mac AU. I'd try it for all the Mac sufferers with regard to SD-1.

Rant/ I am going to mention something. Guys don't shit on the developer. Over on KVR I have see so many developers just walk away from the whole project due to whining assholes who can't barery tie their shoes. This has happened probably hundreds of times. /Rant

 

Arctic - it's something to try. I couldn't guarantee it. Also, try two Patchworks (I don't know what Patchwork is by the way), one SD-1 each. I do not know why only one SD-1 can run at a time.

I programmed an Apple II+ in high school, and my company gave me an iPad. That's the limit of my Apple knowledge. (I struggle with the iPad).

 

MAME is written this way. Sure it can be hacked by a C++ ninja, but it's not worth it for us.

 

You got to consider: If the ROM files are not set 100% correct, the plug in won't show up at all - no "missing ROMs" message, plug in will be like non-existent, if that's the case.

Btw: Someone has any ideas for iconic sounds, that this synth is known for and one has to check out? I only know the "Jesus, he knows me preset", that's kinda famous.

It’s just a file that looks like a floppy disk to the SD1 plugin. Didn’t you see my post #82 with the file attached? I only mentioned my stage name because it appears as a sound in the SD1 screenshot (a few posts back).

after compiling, all files seem to be correct and included , however.... error message.

 

You have to zip these files (not the folder-only the files!)
If you're on a Mac, simply select all the files > right-click > Compress > done
The zip file must be renamed to: sd132.zip

yup...thats what I did, just showing the contents, incase I missed something. they are all in sd132.zip
