Using GA6 with Reaper on Win 11.

Have installed R2R System, latest available.

Everything in GA6 works great with one exception....

When I try to route an Acoustic Agent Kit Piece to individual tracks via the mixer, a small red triangle with an exclamation point appears, and no sound is routed. Doesn't matter if I try to route groups, or individual mixer channels. No sound gets routed.

Has anybody run into this?

 

Have you installed the latest TEAM R2R Steinberg Silk Emulator too?
Not sure if the latest TEAM R2R Root Certificate-R2R is required too or if it is included in the latest R2R System?
I don't use Reaper but I just opened GA up in it to see what happens and it shows this first:



and GA Mixer looks like this? Is this where you are seeing red triangles with an explantion mark?

No I am seeing the red triangle in the new GA6 mixer, where you select the output for each group (kicks, snare, etc.) you'd like to route it to.

 

Not sure then sorry... I take it where I asked the questions above that you installed those... Hopefully some Reaper users can help you further as I use Cubase mostly but you should also copy license-engine-access(dot)dll
from: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Steinberg\TEAM R2R
to: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Steinberg\Activation Manager

 

You need to create multichannel routing. Sometimes (I don't know why) Reaper proposes to do it when you load a multichannel plugin, sometimes doesn't. This is your case. You need separate Reaper's tracks for every output of GA.

Edit: As the manual says, GA is always loaded with the single stereo output by default, you need to create all additional outputs yourself.

FIRST OPTION

- In the track window where GA has been loaded select Edit > Build multichannel routing for output of selected FX...



- After this a window will appear:



- Click Yes. You will get 34 (33?) tracks in Reaper. Now you can route individual pieces in the mixer for all outputs inside GA.

- If you don't need all of the tracks (you don't) you can delete unused ones. But if you try to use an output without a track assigned to it in Reaper you'll get the red triangle.

SECOND OPTION

Also you can add outputs in Reaper one by one. They must be sends from the track where GA has been loaded. Read Reaper's manual and examine the routing of automatically created tracks I have described.

Yes, I have created the Multichannel routing multiple time, and I've tried creating tracks individually.

Same Red Triangles from GA6.

However, every once in awhile, I don't get the red triangle but even in those (rare) instances, there is no sound being routed, at all.

I guess Ill try a complete re-install.

 

Well, I did a complete re-install, even forcing the MSI Windows installer to install as admin, but to no avail.

Haven't figured this one out, yet.
