I like Lexicon, waves, VSL plugins.
Flux is also good but very "pure".
By the way. You have to decide if you want a good reverb effect (by definition) or if you are looking for a good reverb fx that is sounding like analog or a referenced device. Personally, I dislike flavored or compared selection. If you want a good reverb, there is a lot of VERY good options (is nor a secret how to create a good algorithm. It is complex but not secret). If you are looking an specific kind of reverb, because it has the sound of the grand pa get in old machines, then just define witch one and you will find at least 2 or 3 options of each. My opinion. Hope be useful for you.

Recently I took a look at Overloud Breverb. I already tried it some years ago and I thought it was very dull sounding IMHO. I changed my opinion on it: it has changed a lot and now it is really up with the best. I am positively impressed. :dancing:

Right now I'm using mostly Native Instruments RC24/48, not bad at all. I used Lexicon a lot but I'm switching 64 and I can't use them anymore. For convolution LiquidSonics Reverberate.
The only other algo reverb I use is AudioDamage adverb for plates reverbs, I find it great (sometimes also the old Ratshack Reverb, for crappy ambiences).

Yeah the Breverb 2 is pretty nice, compared to 1 is another planet. Valhallha are great too.
But I can't use everything out there, having too many choices just stop my creative process, so I stick with just the 2 algos mentioned above + convolution.

Overloud BREVERB 2 (x64). CPU-friendly, simple and effective. What's not to like?

112db Redline Reverb is amazing. very simple but very effective and so is " Artsacoustic Reverb". artsacoustic has many more presets compared to Redline, but the final result is amazing in both, anyway.

there are alot good reverb plugins! currently i use the Native Instruments RC-24 or RC-48 Reverbs,
because they sound great, they take not too much CPU power and they are easy too handle, with its few knobs and faders.

    Guys,
Have you tried Reflect, from Virsyn?
There are couple of patches that create some noise when selecting them, but...
This little reverb sits well in everything.
A conga loops, a voice, a perc loop, etc, most presets will sound fantastic. Even I, who rarely create my own presets, I found myself tweaking a few ones, and it really sounds amazing.
    For my taste, of course.
Try it, you will be surprised how too it sounds, even compared to the big guys like breverb, Valhalla, etc.

I don't know if is is just me, but when I tried these 2 guys, it's like it's not a 'natural' reverb, and most presets sound the same. And when we tweak them, no matter the settings used, it always sounds the same, at the end. I don't get that sense of natural space I find on other reverbs.

As I said, maybe is just me .. :)

    Steinberg's cubase 7.5

    REVerance convolution reverb
    +
    REVelation algorythmic reverb

are really nice reverbs. of course, they aren't Lexicon or some UAD reverbs, BUT they sound really nice. i can spend lots of time browsing different or strange convolutions on a simple loop, making it sound really cool, different, etc. and the algorythmic REVelation reverb is really really great, imho.

Aether is the undisputed champion, in my opinion. Nothing sounds better to my ears.

Breeze, its little brother, is awesome for lighter tasks as well.

Whenever I don't use them, I end up using Valhalla's Vintage and Room. Both sound really good and offer a high level of control.
