    I have never had success with Realtek's ASIO driver in the past.
    I notice that I have it available on this rig, too, but i think it would be even less likely to work (pure guessing).
    But this USB Realtek (ALC4080) is sketchy enough without complicating things.
    It uses the USB bus instead of the PCi bus, and some people have had noise problems.
    I don't seem to have noise problems, but it has NOT worked well with Asio4all.
    After my failures to get Realtek ASIO working in the past it just seems unlikely, but who knows?

    I still have Asio4all installed + AsioLinkPro, and for many years that has been my combo for use in extracting surround movie stuff, LAN use, etc.
    I will also try this new Asio4all version, but i have a feeling it is just my USB driver/interface that sucks :rofl:

    Studio One 7.2.3 , ASIO4All 2.17 and native Behringer UMC 0404 Drivers same buffer size

    CPU performance on a AMD Ryzen9 7900 is 0.5-1.0% lower on ASIO4All maybe because of the slower Output Latency.

    i like the flexible Buffer settings, 384 is a good deal between 256 and 512 where it is still possible to live input on heavy projects.
    or 96 Buffer is good between 64 and 128 Buffers for Drums. At least for me.

    i am keeping this driver for now, seems better than my years old Behringer Driver.

    Yes, you're right @Neurolepticer, 2014 is obviously much too old.
    If your motherboard has a Realtek chip soldered on, then you should also use the Realtek drivers.

    REALTEK - PC Audio Codecs > High Definition Audio Codecs Software --> www.realtek.com/Download/List?cate_id=593

    Note: Realtek no longer offers a single, cross-board driver package. The packages available directly from Realtek do not necessarily contain the latest drivers. Therefore, Realtek audio drivers should always be obtained from the website of the respective (motherboard) manufacturer.

    High Definition Audio Manager/Audio Console

    The Realtek HD Audio driver includes not only the driver itself, but also installs—depending on your Windows version—either the HD Audio Manager or the Audio Console, which allows you to adjust some sound settings. All the chip's ports are displayed here, with unused ones grayed out. You can also adjust the speaker configuration or enable sound effects.

    However, most of these settings can also be configured within Windows itself, so the software often offers limited added value. The HD Audio Manager's options menu lets you specify whether plugging a headset into the front jacks of a PC mutes the rear output device.

    Realtek USB Audio DCH Driver Restart required - Realtek ALC3263 USB audio codec. LINK:

    This package contains the DCH driver for the Realtek ALC3263 USB audio codec. Audio driver is the software that helps your operating system to communicate with audio devices such as internal sound cards, speakers, headsets, and microphone.

    How to find the latest drivers for your Dell device:

    1. Go to dell.com → Support → Drivers & Downloads.
    2. Enter your Dell computer's service tag or model.
    3. Select your operating system (e.g., Windows 11).
    4. Filter by "Realtek… Driver" in the categories "Audio," "Network," and possibly "Docking Stations," and choose the package with the latest release date.

    But your Behringer is slightly faster.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    And now I checked some [blocks 256]:
    Studio One: Asio4all (11.5ms / 11.5ms)
    FlexAsio (22ms / 27 ms)
    Reaper: Asio4all (10ms / 5.3ms)
    FlexAsio (22ms / 27ms)
    After using Asio4all, FlexAsio is crashing Studio One and can't be selected without crashing.
    I was using FlexAsio before with no problem.
    Switching between Windows Audio & my hardware drivers, enabling disabling stuff..nothing seemed prevent FlexAsio crashing Studio One ... until trying the Realtek.
    Then I could enable FlexAsio again
    Similar thing seems to happen in Reaper, although after one crash it opens with FlexAsio selected.
    So, perhaps FlexAsio is touchy..or Asio4all is a bully...or...
    ...perhaps Windows SUCKS! :rofl:
    ------
    But as I also noticed there is Realtek ASIO available on my system, it seems unable to switch from 1024 buffers, even via it's control panel - none of its settings seem to change that...so it's very high reported latency.
