He drew them in the 80s so you know they're better than modern diagrams too.

 

I'm guessing you must have some massive success then considering you have given somebody feedback on their music?

 

Some peeps nowadays can't read music notation , don't know how to build nor the name of a chord, don't know the key of a song, the difference between major or minor... don't have anything to show, new nor interesting and still say you don't have to learn anything to make music. Call me old-fashioned...

There is still hope though! There is always a gas station nearby...

You probably haven't watched a lot of his content, but he features plenty of new, young, awesomely talented musicians and artists and is every bit as impressed by them as ones "from his era", so honestly, the opinion you are attributing to him, and then admonishing him for is not even accurate.

I appreciate that Beato recognizes the modern masters like Radiohead or Brad Mehldau, but also knows the Jaco Pastorious Havana solo, talks about the harmony of Debussy and knows his way around a DAW. Eith that said if im gonna invest my time into a long form piece of media its gonna be JRE, maybe mafia history, MMA, Trap Lore Ross
