All the times that I've cried (stay, stay, stay)
Keeping all the things I knew inside
And it's hard (why) , but it's harder to ignore it (must you go and make this decision)
If they were right, I'd agree (alone)
But it's them they know, not me
    Now there's a way and I know
That I have to go away
I know I have to go

So much simplicity and honesty in such a direct and emotional way… Nowadays everything is saturated with those damn shallow earworms. Simplicity and honesty still exist (sometimes even too much), but without the context that turns lyrics into a memorable experience. It’s become a rarity, a niche within the mainstream!
