I recently installed kontakt 8 (r2r ver.) and it works fine for few minutes then an error pops up saying that, "that 'x' library needs to be activated" kinda something. Then I click on activate, it says I need to install native access. How can I fix this issue.

You need the R2R Kontakt manager to validate/activate the libraries.
Installing Kontakt only is not enough.
Also be warned that some libraries are not recognized by the R2R Kontakt manager ...

 

From my experiences, BobDule's version is much more stable and predictable. Each Kontakt cracked by R2R tends to de-activate itself, Reaktor too. So - use BobDule's version, it works like a charm.

As u say dude, I will try. Btw, are there some libraries in your mind that don't work.

 

The only thing for me that I found that have that has work so far is, and this is in Logic Pro, to take the plug-in out, then immediately hit undo so that Logic puts the plug-in back in. It’ll reload Kontakt 8 with your settings still intact.

 

Try the newer, portable versions.

Always a shout to stay on the current version anyway because you'll definitely come across a bank that doesn't work with older versions

 

Uninstall the entire Kontakt. Then do a thorough registry clean (Use a third party software if you dont know what you're doing) and reboot, and then reinstall. Then use either BD or R2R Kontakt managers to get the libraries working.

 

There shouldn't be the need to "activate" or "authorize" any Kontakt lib's given a properly cracked Kontakt sampler. Case in point the BobDule kontakt sampler is cracked in such a fashion as to enable it to run pretty much any library you want. The libraries themselves are not cracked, the sampler is. Therefore no need to authorize or activate anything. The only wrench that may get thrown in things is when adding lib's with the add library tools and there a missing NICNT file. Not all scene released libraries have NICNT files so one would have to be made by the end user with a tool. An up to date NativeAccess.XML file is also must have. The XML can be DL'ed easily from NI itself. No need to install the native access app either. Wallpapers can be had easily from the wallpaper thread on this forum.

Use a newer version of Kontakt. That one is pretty old. And everything saccamano said!

 

Been a while since R2R released a recent Kontakt 8.

 

You def didn't install it correctly then. The Bob Dule version is easy. Install with the installer, run the patch as admin and when it asks to replace a file, choose yes. To add libraries either use the normal button in Kontakt or navigate to Program Files/Native Instruments/Kontakt 8 and run as admin the Kontakt_Button.exe. If this file does not exist your antivirus has taken it and you need to tell it to allow/restore the file. The main kicker is that your libraries MUST have the NICNT file in the folder for it to show up in the interface, otherwise you will have to open the nki files via the Kontakt Browser.
