Hello,

the recent updates of Kontakt discontinued the classic library view. Workflow-wise, I was mainly using this view in order to browse my libraries and pick instruments from there. Now that this is gone, I'm left with the newer view which I'm not to fond of for the moment.

This led me to the question how all of you are using Kontakt? Do you just use the newer library view now, or am I missing something?

Furthermore, how does one add new libraries with a newer Bobdule version now? Use R2R's Kontakt Manager?

File view -> Instrument family - instrument name - subtext - company
Works for me!

 

File > Switch to Classic View
File > Set view settings as default

Done.

This. You may also need to go to options>interface and uncheck "show full screen library browser...." or it'll keep going back to the other one.

Classic view. I don't have that many libraries so i don't really organize them in any specific way anymore.

c:/>Program files>native instruments>Kontakt 8>Kontakt button. Then press "add library" if the library has the corresponding .ncint file or use the "nicnt maker 2" to create an .nicnt file, a window should popup with instructions.

That's the way i do it anyway.
