Hello all,

I'm trying to install the new Studio One 7.0.2 on Windows 11, using the R2R sphere manager, doing this:
* Install Studio One 7;
* Install Sphere Manager;
* Run Install Magic Studio One 7 (without error);
* Run Renew (without error).

Then I open Studio One, and I receive the error "License file not valid!", then it asks me to login.

What I'm not doing right?

Tried to clean ProgramData folder, also clean Program Files Presonus folder, without success.

Can anyone help me?

Your solution works WITHOUT having to use an internet connection correct?

 

Is this only for S1 activation or we can also have the benefits of a plus subscription? Like download stuff from presonus?

 

It's now possible to install the official extensions with ".install" files. I've checked it, and I was able to first install the Navigation Essentials macro. Then I did the same with Harmony Wizard and I was able to activate it. The official extensions couldn't work without being modified with the previous activation method.
Stuff from subscription is available as a separate download, afaik you can't download it directly

Thank you, I forgot AppData folder, where there was a license file. My code in registry was ok.

Hello, I still got that problem for SO7 7.2.2 with Presonus Sphere Manager R2R. I still got that window with "Failed renewing subscription". And even after removing the Appdata and The ProgramData folder and the license, i also tried to change the ComputerKey but didn't change anything. So i created myself the ComputerKey with my Machine ID but didn't work as well.
Do you know why or could you help me et if someone knows.

hey Guys would someone be so kind as to explain to the order of steps to follow to get offline activation as Presonus Sphere doesn't seem to generate any licenses or any relevant information pertaining to Studio One.

This is what I can see from the generated files from Sphere in the command folder :
When opening script windows command script with txt editor this is the displayed info in order.

Install Magic - Notion 6 - ..\\SphereManager.exe magicN6
Install Magic - Studio One 7 ..\\SphereManager.exe magicS1 /regkey "Studio One 7"
Subscription - Renew ..\\SphereManager.exe renew

I remember with older versions you take the Activation code from offline activation and paste it into key gen then I cannot for the love of me remember what you do from there ?

You need these two files from Team R2R. Read the attached NFO file from Studio One 7.
Then run "Setup PreSonus Sphere Manager v2.0.0"!

PreSonus Studio One 7 v7.2.3-R2R
A witch says,You need our PreSonus Sphere Manager to authorize.

TEAM R2R PreSonus Sphere Manager v2.0.0-R2R
A witch says, Our Sphere Manager allows you to manage PreSonus subscription license and applications

But this thing is going to drive me insane lol .When I install Sphere it installs when i run it , the command folder opens up but alas running it as admin doesn't do jack shit . App still opens up wanting to register or like now it started up in demo mode .

You need our PreSonus Sphere Manager to authorize. Authorize what ? How ? Running the bash scripts do not do anything ? How do I get to authorize ? Worst case scenario where would I get the code response that was usually generated by the old keygen ? Then if I know the destination of said response code i can manually just change the ComputerKey in regedit .

First, back up your projects, then completely delete this folder, restart your PC, and then reinstall and register Studio One:

C:\Program Files\PreSonus
C:\Users\YourNameDocuments\Studio One
C:\Users\Public\Documents\PreSonus

Hidden Folder:
C:\ProgramData\PreSonus
C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\PreSonus

For a purchased version, the licenses are located here: C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\PreSonus\Studio One 7

@PulseWave thanks gonna try that just now . I didn't know the license was only for 30 days then you have to renew , I just can't remember what i did the first time i got it to work , i do remember it wasn't this difficult though . Will let you know if that works . Thanks

 

@PulseWave : I have news from beyond the veil . No JOY !!!! Used revo uninstaller to completely un-install Studio One but alas after re-installing and running everything the game is still running in demo mode . Never had issues like this before i mean I cracked Propellerhead's Reason 13 with the the client and server side is thrice more encrypted than Presonus ever wish they could be !!!! Wubu is a absolutely nightmare to get round and yet now Studio One is giving me the proverbial finger !!!! Arrrrrgh . Thanks for the assist none the less .

No, you're not called "admin," you've just been granted full privileges for your PC.

The computer name is set during the installation of your operating system.
You can usually find your computer name under SYSTEM - ACCOUNTS.
