    Hi,
after many research, I can't find a way to convert all giga of reaktor maps I have to audio files.
I've found only Chicken Translator app(expensive, locked by ilok and not ARM compatible) which would do probably the trick.

Sure, you can export a sample from a map 1 by 1, but its a real pain & lost of time to export sample by sample from a .map of 40 samples, for example.

Anyway, maybe I've missed something? Any advices would be greatly appreciated?

    Cheers.

    Google geminis reaction:
It is indeed frustrating that Reaktor maps often feel like a "walled garden" for your own samples. Since you've already ruled out Chicken Systems Translator due to its price and compatibility issues, here are the most effective alternatives to batch-convert those gigabytes of .map files into standard audio.

Awave Studio (The Reliable Choice) Awave Studio is widely considered the strongest alternative to Translator. It has supported Reaktor .map files for a long time and is much more stable.

    • The Process: You can open a .map file directly, and it will list all contained samples. You can then use the "Batch Conversion" wizard to export them all as WAVs in one go.

    • Trial: There is a shareware version available. I recommend downloading it to see if it parses your specific map versions correctly before committing.
The Kontakt "Save with Samples" Trick If you own Native Instruments Kontakt, you might already have the tool you need. Kontakt was designed to be compatible with other NI formats.

    1. Open Kontakt and create a new, empty Instrument.

    2. Open the Mapping Editor.

    3. Try to drag and drop your .map file directly into the editor.

    4. If Kontakt populates the zones with your samples, go to Files -> Save As.

    5. Select "Patch + Samples" and choose a new folder. Kontakt will write every single sample as a separate WAV file into a "Samples" subfolder.
Reaktor’s Internal "Save All" (Version Dependent) Depending on which version of Reaktor created the maps, there is a hidden-in-plain-sight method:

    1. Open the Sample Map Editor in Reaktor.

    2. Select all samples in the list (Cmd+A / Ctrl+A).

    3. Right-click the selection.

    4. Look for "Save Selection As..." or "Extract Samples." Note: If the samples are "embedded" in the map, Reaktor sometimes forces you to save the map itself. However, if you can select the list, some versions allow a "Copy to..." command which physically copies the source files to a destination of your choice.
Extreme Alternative: CDXtract This is an older piece of software, but it was famous for being the "Translator killer." It handles Reaktor formats well. Like Awave, it’s a dedicated converter. It is worth checking if a legacy version runs on your system, as it is often faster at batch processing than Reaktor itself.

An answer fitting for your avatar. :-D
