Hello guys, Nexus stopped working suddenly for me, i tried reinstalling (clean install) it works for a moment but when i go to select a sound it says that the library is missing (I can play the sound, i know for a fact that it's loading the libraries correctly), my best guess is that reFX pwnd it. I tried installing latest version with Nexus 5 (i was using 4) and it works...but it crashes after selecting and trying to play any sound, it doesn't matter.

reFX Nexus v4.5.13 (uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled (clean) + reinstalled = library goes missing regardless. UI and preview work, loading a sound makes it go ???)
reFX Nexus v5.3.27 (clean install, works but crashes giving no time to play any sound at all, UI works)

It was working fine until 2 days ago.

Tested on FL Studio Producer Edition 21.1.0 Build 3713
48khz sample rate (Tried changing it, doesn't matter)

 

Saw your comment, checked mine. Win 10 machine, using Fender S1, Nexus 5.3 working fine, all libraries present and producing sound.

I checked over on Russian torrent site to see if people were commenting on it... not much but I did see a few people saying they had a problem with it using FL Studio. You might try a different DAW just to check and see if Nexus is picking up your libraries and working properly using something else.

Since mine is working, and not seeing any flow of comments with people saying they're having a problem, I doubt its something Refx is doing. Either its a problem with some FL Studio installs or something got fouled up on your setup or machine.

 

You have to check your settings.json file to make sure it is pointed to your correct library location.

You should get BlueCat's Patchwork. It's helpful for testing stuff in your DAW, but if you install the standalone version, you can test plugins with basically no DAW in the way. It is just a plugin host.

You should have refx.com and auth.refx.com blocked in your firewall.

If you have to reinstall it, you have to make sure you cleaned up everything. Use Revo Uninstaller. When you first re-install it, you let it past your firewall once. After that, block it permanently. The "missing content" issues are easiest solved by installing the v4 library from torrent that is 190gb. First install the v5 plugin, the v5 library, and then v4 full library. You can't be missing any sound sources because you will have them all.
