For the most part, yes. A good chunk of the Studio series libraries have been released on the sister site, and elsewhere.

The content for SSE is drawn from the full Studio series libraries (not Synchron series). The difference between SSE content and the corresponding full Studio versions? SSE has fewer articulations, and fewer RRs and dynamic layers on most instruments. Also, most of the SSE content is not sampled chromatically, so the tonal depth isn't the same as the full Studio versions. Still an impressive, and very useable collection!

It could be useful to have an explanation about the differences between the different library "names". Synchron, Studio, Special Edition, Prime, HELLO, Duality, Smart etc.

More or less we can guess when one Woodwind library has 5-10 times the size of the other but sometimes there are additional articulations, extra instruments etc.
Whether it's due to less dynamic layers, less mics or less articulations, it would be helpful to know.

There are seemingly obvious differences between Synchron and Studio and Duality, the room but there are much more than just the mic position and room. Prime Vs Dimensions...

 

I don't think so. Epic was originally a give-away library that came packed with the Synchron player. It's even lighter on articulations, etc, than the SSE series but includes content from the early Synchron strings libraries (SSE draws from just Studio series).

BBO was created/recorded with a specific purpose in mind. I view it as VSL's take on OT Metropolis series, or Spitfire's Albion series.

VSL have put as much effort into the resource/education sections of their website as they do their libraries. They have also created a considerable library of videos explaining and demonstrating the differences between their main libraries; Studio, Synchron, etc.

Só, other than the several related YouTube videos there isn't any clear explanatory info about the different names. You must search about each library on Google and read many forum posts.
The Vienna site does not give you the important details, only some YouTubers. The Prime libraries aren't even listed on the side menu.
Vienna tells you when a library is synchron-ized, which we can guess that it's an old library adapted to the new player.
But really only some forum posts and user videos speak there experience and the important differences.

 

Prime is listed under the "Synchron Starter Editions" heading.

 

Correct me if im wrong..
I was thinking the Synchron labeled libs are recorded on the Synchron Stage A.
The Studio Libs recorded on the much more silenced Synchron Stage B .{Synchronized}
And again,if i m not wrong ,the Stage B was lateron called Silent Stage

 

Stage B and the Silent Stage are different rooms. Stage B is smaller and less reverberant than Stage A, but not as dead as the Silent Stage. Not 100% sure, but I don't believe the Silent Stage is part of the current Synchron facility.

The Synchronized bit comes from VSL reworking the recordings from the old VI CUBE series, recorded at/on the Silent Stage, to work with Synchron player, and fit sonically with the libraries being recorded at the Synchron facility. Those are the bulk of what is now known as the Studio series.
