    • Don't get married.
A great match will make a career; a bad match will break a career.
Problem is: difficult to tell one from another past the horizon of time.

    Reject convenience, always do

You will understand eventually that the essentials remain essentials, they don't care about time, but it's important to continue growing and find that limit yourself rather than stopping when you have something that fits in what you don't understand but does what you want to do, over time, the process will become what you admire and respect the most, you'll also notice the importance of meaning, essence and personality over market and commercial success. Don't trust your ears, trust your gut, trust in that thing that you notice you do better than anyone and learn how to make the most out of it, if nobody understands you, become everyone and understand yourself from another perspective, always be humble and respect others, help in the same way that you want to be helped and show the things that you want others to share with you. Never skip a new friend, a new experience, a new idea, stubbornness will get you nowhere in life.

Nothing is as good as not knowing why to then learn and understand how to, and then to once again not know why and keep learning continuously, life's a process, enjoy it.

    Thats difficult!

Fall more into a rabit hole, instead of pressuring yourself to deliver something, which you at the end cant see its value anyway.
Ear training is not that hard, just get started, one step at the time.

we all started somewhere. And i still use FL, even after over 20 years, since i found it.
It was my first DAW and there is something nostalgic for me about it, even it isnt my first weapon of choice.

Exploring other DAWs is fine, but regreting that you have used 10 years ago X software, it not a good advice imo. You never know what you will use in 10 years from now, heopfully not regreting what you are using now.

One more thing more relevant these days than it used to be.
Never trust only one source. Find at least four non-affiliated places that have nothing to gain from giving out information, that match near exactly in what they say, and you will be closer to getting the correct information.

Always let out what wants to come out whether it's what you like or intended.
    Finish everything.
Don't judge yourself - Plenty of people will do that for free.
